Simon has over 10 years of mathematics teaching experiences at all levels for over 6 years.  He is well known for his unique techniques of tackling maths problems and his engaging and friendly character.  With his explanations on complicated concepts in a structural manner, you shall be able to understand and apply the knowledge whether or not mathematics is your favourite subject at school.

Fun Fact

Like many of you, Simon can sleep everywhere from standing on the MTR to watching Fast & Furious 8 in the cinema.  He loves the sport of football and plays the position of centre back in his team.

Yan

Teaches: Economics, Mathematics, English

Yan has received a full overseas scholarship to pursue Economics at UCL. After graduation, Yan has worked for an international bank in London and Nairobi.  Her last role was a corporate and investment banker.  She always utilises her professional experience as real-world examples to help students to grasp different concepts in Economics.  Yan is also good at simplifying complicated concepts and teaching students various examination and study techniques.

Fun Fact

Yan runs a blog Yan Galleria to share her love on yoga, art and travelling. She also looks to introduce her love of African art to markets in Asia and Europe. She has spent a night camping at the rim of Erta Ale, an active volcano in North Ethiopia.

Joseph

Teaches: English

Joseph graduated with first class honours and on the dean's list with a BA and MA in English Literature from CUHK, and is currently pursuing his second master's degree in Digital Education with the University of Edinburgh.  His teaching experience ranges from lecturing at CUHK to providing classes at the Hong Kong government's Academy for Gifted Education, and he also consulted for the RTHK on the English Made Easy educational programme.

Fun Fact

Joseph is a stage actor and co-founded the theatre company Shadow Players, and was invited by the European Union to tour in Australia to promote cultural exchange between Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Teaches: Biology, Chemistry

Andrew has been teaching biology and chemistry for almost 10 years.  He always adopts a holistic approach to help students learn individual topics by establishing connections throughout the whole syllabuses. He believes science training in high schools should not only inculcates knowledge and theories, but also aims at developing students' logical thinking and nurturing their spirit of scientific inquiry.  This is the only way to develop students into rational and pragmatic elites.

Fun Fact

Andrew is as motivated as a Super Saiyan (if you know about this comics) during lessons, but always prefers chilling out afterwards.  He also embraces love and peace at heart.
